The lights of the heart are angels that spread throughout the limbs like branches to a tree. Shutting off these lights has an evil effect. This verse rids all forms of negativity and sin that are purged from the body, purifying our souls. All evil spirits, such as Lilit, are liquidated as darkness is decimated by a flood of light.
